Systems Training Manager
Part Time - 24 hours per week. 
Based Crick, Northamptonshire,
Weekly travel to the offices and regular national travel

Travis Perkins plc are currently recruiting a experienced Systems Training Manager within our Plumbing and Heating Division. Role Purpose

The purpose of the Systems Training Manager role is to design, develop and deliver structured business development training to showroom, branch and team colleagues on systems, processes, and customer journey experience.
This will maximise our business potential through growing customer acquisition, customer engagement, business growth and system utilisation to achieve and exceed sales and trading margin for the Bathroom Showroom business, Plumbing and Heating Division and the wider Travis Perkins Group.

Principle responsibilities
  • Design, develop and deliver robust and accurate training programmes in line with business requirements to both new and existing Bathroom Showroom colleagues
  • Undertake training needs analysis to identify the gap between current and desired performance for specific showrooms or defined job roles and determine the training and development needs required to bridge the learning gap
  • Identify potential solutions, provide costing, draft project plans and formulate proposals for consideration by relevant decision makers
  • Organise structured and diary planned product training events across the Bathroom Showroom estate
  • Work closely with the Divisional HR and Training team to ensure training activity is fully aligned with the overall Divisional Training agenda and business transformation activities
  • Collate feedback and evaluate the impact and effectiveness of training against specific success criteria using agreed evaluation methodology
  • Review outputs and deliverables to ensure the desired quality and training outcomes are achieved.
We are looking for
  • It would be preferred if you held a Training/CIPD Qualification or equivalent in training delivery
  • Upward of 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Experience of training design, development and delivery
  • Worked in an operational/commercial management role in a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of the learning and development cycle and the pros / cons and application of different learning methods
  • You must be driven, enthusiastic, self confident, self motivated and be a team player
  • Commercial knowledge – able to make sound / profitable business decisions
  • Able to write well-articulated proposals and reports in response to customers needs
