Senior HR Business Partner/HR Business Partner/Asst Business Partner opportunities

6-12 month Secondment opportunities (possible perm)

We have some exciting HR Business Partnering opportunities to join a dynamic and energetic part of our business who are going through a real period of growth and transformation. The roles will initially be on a secondment basis, with the possibility of becoming permanent.  The roles will support the operational leadership teams within the Plumbing and Heating businesses as we continue to create a standalone organisation from the Group and continue to transform the business.


As we continue to grow and develop the business there is a need for us to expand and reshape our P&H HR team to ensure that we are able to deliver excellent service to our stakeholders, and strategically support business plans. This is an exciting time for anyone joining the P&H businesses and team as you will play a major part in helping us to shape and deliver our future HR and Business strategy.


PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES


Our business partners will be liaising between Directors, Management and the broader HR team; proactively supporting and adding value in the delivery of key objectives through developing and supporting an effective and visible people agenda. You will strengthen existing skills and behaviours to support Managers to raise their capability to lead and manage change. Effectively challenging, influencing and coaching Line Managers.


Primary Accountabilities

  • Primarily you will be business partnering regional leadership teams across the branch network - City Plumbing and Plumbing Trading supplies (size/location of regions still being defined)

  • Work with key stakeholders and senior management to deal efficiently and effectively with ER issues.

  • Working closely with the senior managers to ensure we have robust succession plans in place ensuring that our People structures are fit for the future and we have the right people in the right roles, the right place and at the right time to deliver success.  In doing so you will need to:

    • Work closely with both the Recruitment team and hiring managers on key roles

    • Work with senior managers to embed annual succession reviews

    • Support operational efficiency through leading structure and organisational reviews

  • Working with key stakeholders and senior management to role model, deliver positive cultural change and build high performing teams ensuring development needs are identified and solutions are delivered. In doing so you will need to;

    • Work with the Training team to identify training needs to help build capability and facilitate training

    • Engage with functional Listening Groups to support effective communication and engagement

  • Understand the immediate and future plans for the business and develop a people plan to support this, whilst ensuring stakeholders are challenged and supported to deliver on critical value adding people activities.



WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

The ideal candidates for the roles will have a proven track record as an HRBP (all levels of experience considered) ideally within a multi-site environment.  While the roles are part of small regional teams day to day it is important that the successful candidates have a can-do attitude and the confidence to work autonomously, while appreciating the need for consistency of approach. We are looking for broad generalist capability alongside the ability to contribute at a high level to a variety of projects; change delivery, and the ability to influence in a fast paced, ambiguous environment.
