Integration Specialist
Location - Northampton 
£Competitive + Bonus and Benefits 

We have an exciting new role to join our newly formed IT department within the Plumbing and Heating division. This role will be based in the newly refurbished offices located at Harvey Reeves Road Northampton. 

The Role

Responsible for the delivery of analysis and active development of integration capabilities. Determines the analysis approach for change projects, establishing standards and templates to drive consistency in delivery.

Principe Accountabilities
  • Works with projects and programmes to provide input such as Feature Files for integration deliverables, considering both functional and non-functional aspects of the integrations. Assist with the creation of detailed estimates as part of Scrum planning and performance testing for non-functional requirements
  • Work with IT projects and programmes team from the earliest stage of their planning and provides advice on how thinking about integration efficiency can help shape the overall design of project/programme deliverables
  • Contribute to the development of high level estimates for integration deliverables at the early requirements stage establishing close relationships with key stakeholders ensuring appropriate levels of detail are captured
  • Responsible for driving best practice behaviours, Integration Analyst (IA) competencies and standards within the Integration community. The IA should embed QA concepts (including peer reviews, customer feedback and continuous improvement activities), actively advocate a growth mindset and be seen as a point of reference for best practice application of IA skills
  • Build trusted relationships with a variety of stakeholders within the organisation, encouraging the application of analysis to support strategic decision making, understanding how the change/project aligns with business and enterprise strategic objectives
  • Works closely with Technology Architects to ensure that the requirements provided are comprehensive, clear and accurate and that efficient integration solutions can be created from the input provided
  • Ensures quality of all services built to ensure all requirements from different stakeholders are considered, and services can be transitioned through testing and into production seamlessly in an immediately supportable fashion
  • Work closely with the 3rd party Integration Engineering team to ensure that all components delivered by the team are reusable, repeatable, reliable and supportable

What you will have 

  • Educated to degree-level (or with significant demonstrable relevant and equivalent experience)
  • Management of Risk or equivalent Coaching and Facilitation
  • Demonstrable experience as a practising Integration Analyst, Resource & Demand Management, Implementing standard ways of working, Technical systems experience, preferably in development of a modern technology framework and object oriented principles
  • 2 years or more working in the domain of Integration on various projects and programmes
  • Working in environments that combine agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Integration Analysis in application

  • Process Improvement
  • You will hold skills within Knowledge Management, Analysis approaches , Solution knowledge , Industry Knowledge,  Integration architecture (both high and low level) and Business analysis practices and synergies with Integration analysis
