Finance Administrator - Claimbacks

Location - Northampton

Division - Plumbing & Heating

We at Travis Perkins - Plumbing & Heating division are looking to recruit a Finance Administrator to join the P&H Claimbacks team based in Northampton.

Joining us as a Finance Administrator within the Claimbacks finance team, means joining a team of dedicated finance colleagues; where we value innovative thoughts and a collaborative desire to continue with our business success. As our new Claimbacks Finance Administrator, you’ll actively support the chasing of cash from suppliers and have full ownership of the cash allocation process for this particular income stream.

In addition to the above, you’ll also be responsible for:

  • Resolving supplier payment queries and escalating issues as required

  • Working with internal departments in ensuring that supplier monies received are accounted for appropriately

  • Analysing cash received to ensure that it is coded to the system in an appropriate manner

  • Where discrepancies arise on supplier payments, ensuring that these are logged with adequate reason codes

What we are looking for:

  • Experience of keying large volumes of invoices/credit notes

  • Great communication skills and internal and external stakeholder management

  • Understanding of cash allocation processes and associated principles

  • Excel skills (Intermediate level ) would be essential

  • Word and Data entry skills

  • Hold strong attention to detail skills

  • Numerate with analytical approach to tasks

  • Team player, with desire to develop
