Job Description

Admin & New Accounts Assistant Location - Birmingham Division - Plumbing & Heating Are you looking for the next step to build on your administration experience within a dynamic and fast paced environment? We have an exciting opportunity for an Administration & New Accounts Assistant role based at our Primaflow office in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to join our dynamic and friendly environment where you will process credit applications in line with the company policy and deal with any queries that prevent the withholding of cash. It’s an exciting time to be joining the division as we embark on a transformation journey to create a stronger, more efficient and more profitable business. As part of this role, your responsibilities will include: To ensure that all outstanding invoice queries are resolved and collected expediently by liaising with the branch / customer and that all relevant resolutions are documented Ensure new credit applications are processed within the parameters of the PF&P credit policy To ensure that any high risk accounts are brought to the attention of the Supervisor or Credit Manager Risk assess applications up to a certain amount or liase with the Supervisor or Credit Manager on risk assessing applications over the set amount To ensure accounts which have exceeded credit limits are regularly reviewed and where appropriate liaise with the Supervisor or Credit Manager Ensure SLAs are maintained with regards to account application processing To escalate outstanding queries where appropriate to achieve resolution and expedite payment. Produce monthly reports detailing KPIs and other general office admin e.g. copy invoices, statements, new accounts To be considered you’ll need some administration experience with the desire to succeed with the company.You’ll need to be organised, be able to manage your own workload and have excellent communication skills.
